Directions
FROM JOHANNESBURG (one of two ways)
Shortest route:
1. Take the N3 towards Durban
2. As you cross the Vaal River at Villiers, before the Wilge Toll Gate, turn off the N3 and follow the R26 to Frankfort.
3. Continue with the R26 until you get to a T-Junction, turn to your right towards Frankfort. Pass the town of Frankfort and cross a bridge over a large river. After crossing the river, turn left towards Reitz and continue to follow the R26.
4. Continue on the R26 going past Tweeling. Cross over a stop street ignoring the Reitz turnoff and carry on straight towards Bethlehem.
5. Once in Bethlehem, drive straight through. You will pass a Pick ‘n Pay on your right and CTM Tile Market on your left. Continue straight, over the 4-way stop just up ahead.
6. Continue on this road, you will go over a set of traffic lights and head out of town.
7. The road will make a huge bend and just after the bend you will see a sign that says Clarens to your right.
8. Continue on this road for 26km, as you pass through the “nek” of Clarens, you will find a signboard for Mont d’Or Hotel & Conference Centre directing you to turn right. Follow this road and we are situated right next to Maluti Mountain Lodge.
Or alternatively:
1. Take the N3 towards Durban
2. At Warden take the R 714 towards Bethlehem
3. After you have reached a T-Junction, follow the pointers to Bethlehem to the left.
4. Follow points 5-8 above

FROM DURBAN: (Scenic Route)
1. Take the N3 towards Johannesburg.
2. Turn off the N3 at the Winterton/Central Berg turn off just after the Estcourt Ultra City.
3. Continue through Winterton and Bergville up the Oliviershoek Pass.
4. Still on the R 74 go past the Sterkfontein Dam on your left. You will eventually get to a T-Juntion. Turn left towards Qwa-Qwa (R712)
5. Continue on this road. DO NOT turn off anywhere; go through the Qwa-Qwa and Golden Gate Park towards Clarens.
6. You will find a board that will direct you to turn left into the town of Clarens, DO NOT go into the village of Clarens, carry on this road as if you are heading towards Bethlehem for about 2km.
7. You will find a signboard for Mont d’Or Hotel & Conference Centre directing you to turn left. Follow this road and we are situated right next to Maluti Mountain Lodge.
